After bringing in the New Year, poker players were looking forward to a clean slate at the LLWSOP and possibly a chance to win the first tournament. Standing in the way of such hopes and dreams?... Jim Moorman! During the Final 8 Championship game, he made fast work of the competition. Soon after, he eliminated Jim South from the January tournament, pocketing the double bounty! Then, if you thought you had a chance to win the January title, Jim Moorman was there to hog the spotlight once again!

Jim had a chance to show some mercy when he faced his own son, Irish Steve, when action was down to two players. The family connection was forgotten as Jim giggled while stacking Steve's chips. After everyone was defeated, Jim got under the table and boasted, "It's so easy to beat these LLWSOP players, I could play the whole game from down here!"
