Bonnie is the Queen of Aces! - 02/05/11
When Bonnie gets down the the final table, she always seems to get pocket aces and they always seem to hold up!
The February game was no different as pocket aces once again helped her along the way to the championship. After
one elimination at the final table, Jim Moorman pushed with a strong king, but was called by Brian's pocket
queens AND by Bonnie's pocket aces. The aces held and then it was then a race for who would take second place in
the tournament. Steve Villireal had a big stack going into the cash, but a flush by Steve Pait took most of
those chips. Damon managed to survive an all-in shove vs. four players and that landed him in the cash after
his J/Q off cracked a flopped set of aces with Irish Steve. Head-to-head action ended up between Bonnie and
KGB with Bonnie taking the top spot for February.
In other gambling news, Chris Hill tabled the first ever royal flush in hearts during the no-limit cash game.
His no-fold style also earned him the nickname Chris "Barnacle" Hill, which reflects the fact that you can't
scrape him off a hand! For those of you in the football pool, Irish Steve won with grand prize with a 1
for GB and a 5 for Pit.
