Jim Vs. Jim Battle! - 05/04/13

Every now and then, you hear a story about a rich sports star or entertainer who somehow manages to lose everything and go broke. You might think to yourself that it could never happen to you, or to someone you know but you would be WRONG!!! Mike Bell somehow managed to build the biggest stack ever seen when he sat down at the final table, but in true MC Hammer style, he was felted in third place. It's not that he did anything wrong with his money, but it probably comes down to the fact that the poker gods just cannot allow that much winning in one night!

It looked like Mike was going to go all the way, but play slowed as we got down to the bubble and the 6th player subbornly refused to be eliminated. Eventually, Mike Sprugasci announced that he had played all night and then he was going to get nothing. Two hands later, fate rewarded him with the bubble he had predicted.

Irish and Matt Sprugasci were eliminated next and the real game began. Somehow Mike's stack was divided between the two Jims as Mike landed in third. When the last card hit the table, Jim Moorman extended his 2013 points lead with the May championship.
