Damon Dodges Curse of Pickled Popcorn in July! - 07/09/16

The July LLWSOP was filled with adversity, mostly because of a simple bag of pickle favored popcorn. Players tried to concentrate on their games, but the resources required to avoid the dreaded pickled bag was too much for many. Kevin W. had a large stack early on, but he couldn't hold those chips into the later rounds. Mike E. was also looking like he was going to make a deep run, but lost momentum at the final table. They were both victims of the popcorn, no doubt.

The Moorman clan was looking good, all making the cash, but they couldn't make it out of the bottom three payout positions. Damon and Dave S. were left and despite the existence of pickled popcorn, they were able to face off in head-to-head action. Damon ended up finishing off Dave, picking up the cash and the July title.
