Jeff Beats Everyone... Except Mike! - 08/02/17
When was the last time that you got four of a kind in a poker game? Most players have to think a while before they can remember such a rare feat. No so for Jeff Mazzella, who returned to the Little League World Series of Poker after a long hiatus. Jeff manged to table quads early in the game. Amazingly, he managed to get another hand of quads later in the game. This might seem amazing by itself, but his incredible night was not over. Besides getting quads twice, he also landed a straight flush as well!
You might think that this would be enough to win the entire tournament, and Jeff came pretty close to closing out the rest of the field. Unfortunately for him, Mike Emerson (who didn't even get quads once!) was lurking in the shadows to take all of his chips for the August championship!
