Damon Dishes Second Place to Barnacle Yet Again! - 08/03/13

This month, the August tournament entertained with plenty of crazy hands! In a rare counterfeit, Ed got his money in with pocket queens, but Bonnie took down the pot when four eights hit the board and she tabled the ace kicker! The most popular hand came at the final table when action folded around to the blinds and Jim Moorman made a speech before going all-in. The speech backfired when Ben called with pocket aces, but those aces were then cracked when Jim flopped a flush! Kevin Wu had some interesting luck at the final table as well when his pocket kings and then his pocket queens were both cracked in a three handed game.

Damon and Chris Hill ended up with all of the chips when the dust settled and Chris was trying not to repeat his second place finish from July. He ended up not having enough gas in the tank to make the final position though and Damon took down the August championship.
