Fancy Dan Gets Fancy! - 8/4/12

Fancy Dan won both the bounty and the August championship, but his road to victory was not as easy as it looked. At the final table, Dan got into a big hand with first-time player, Kay South. Dan was set to scoop the pot with a full house saying that "only a better hand would beat him," which is just was Kay tabled, showing quad nines! Despite the setback, Dan used his fancy powers to overcome the beating and found himself in the top spot for the month. Kay South managed to take fourth place (with the help of Dan's chips) for a cash in her first tournament.

There are only four more games left in the season, so those of you with eight games in the books will be dropping their lowest scores on the points board. This is when the competition heats up for the final eight game, so anything can happen during the final four games!
