Dr. Bell Defeats Field of 30! - 08/06/11

Jeff Mazzella has enjoyed a great 2001 LLWSOP and this was the first month that he made it to the cash but didn't take the tournament victory. After Jeff went out in fourth, LA! took the third position which was rewarding after taking some bad beats over the last few months. Mike Bell ended up with all of LA's chips which gave his a huge chip lead in head-to-head action with Irish Steve. Neither player won a big pot for almost 20 minutes before Irish pushed with a suited king and Dr. Bell won the tournament with an ace.

Congrats to Steve Shuffleboy Pait for winning the high hand on the poker machine with a Royal Flush! It's the first time we have seen one on the machine since we started playing with it and Steve was happy to be in the money before the tournament even started!
