September Sweep! - 9/03/11

Fancy Dan predicted on the Poker People Facebook page that Dr. Bell would repeat his winning performance from the August tournament. His road to a second victory would not be complete until he navigated through a September final table of LLWSOP regulars. When action got down to the bubble, the key hand was between Mike Sprugasci and Damon Ducks Rivera. Mike thought that he had gone all-in with a pair of jacks on the flop but when Damon pushed him for his last few remaining chips, he folded and the donation to Damon gave him much needed amunition.

Dan's prediction of a Bell victory looked true as his chip lead gave him the advantage as head-to-head action began with Damon. That lead cumbled over several hands and Damon was able to sweep September with both the bounty and the championship!

Players this month were impressed with the play of Bonnie Edens, who was able to outlast half of the field while playing her hands all the way from Las Vegas! Well, she didn't actually "play" the hands, but after buying in solely for the points, she was blinded off to a 12th place finish.
