This month, Mike Sprugasci achieved the rare feat of landing in the poultry corner and cashing in the same tournament. With the blinds at 3k and 6k, Mike was in the big blind with about 11k total in his stack. Even with half his chips in the blind, he still managed to find a fold, cementing his poultry status for the night. Despite this, he managed to claw his way back into the game!

In the hand of the night, Jim Moorman was ready to eliminate Mike when he caught trip 3's on the flop. The turn card showed a board of 4,4,3,3, and a miracle 4 on the river gave them both a chop. Mike rode that momentum to take the chip lead with three players to go, but eventually his steam ran out and Jim finished with all of the chips.
