Mike Sprugasci Back-to-back Comeback! - 9/8/12

Mike Sprugasci doesn't take defeat lightly. Table one thought that they had sent Mike to the rail as the first person eliminated from the September tournament, but Sprugasci dug in, and he used the re-entry option to continue his game. Eventually, Mike made it to the $800/$1600 blind level, and once again the table though they had him on the ropes with only 1,200 chips left in his stack. Mike simply refused to be eliminated and he worked that 1,200 chips into a stack that would land him in the final three with LA and Bonnie.

LA was riding a heater to the final table and many expected her to win, but Bonnie always seems to get the good hands when the player count gets short. When LA exited in third, Mike's main poker nemesis was gone and then he turned his attention to Bonnie. Her magical powers to summon great cards came up short this month, giving Mike the opportunity to become the first re-entry player to go from last to first at the LLWSOP.
