Veteran Overcomes Rookie in November! - 11/02/13

We haven't seen much of Chris Johnson this year, but he is one of the old-school veterans of the LLWSOP tournament. For his first appearance in the 2013 season, he took on a series rookie for the November title. Kay South cashed in he only other LLWSOP experience and she was in a strong position to win it all in only her second game. Chris pushed Kay all-in and she called with top pair on an eight-high board. Johnson tabled K/Q of diamonds and was looking at 15 outs when the turn showed a second diamond on the board. The river landed another diamond for Chris and that draw essentially ended Kay's exciting shot at victory.

The last game of the season is our annual Holiday Gathering and Poker tournament. Come early with your favorite dish and enjoy food and drink with your favorite degenerates! After the festivities, the December competition will decide who sits down at the final 8 game in Januar!
