Jim South Wins Final Game of the Season! - 12/07/13

This Annual Holiday Gathering and Poker Tournament once again rewarded players with a wide selection of foods. Taking the top honor for best use of initials was the "elk enchiladas" delivered by Ed Edens. The LLWSOP also sends out a special thanks to Ted, who drops in with his egg rolls every year even though he never plays!

Once the poker action began, it looked like Chris Hill was going to cruise to an easy victory with a huge stack that he built up at table one. At the final table, his fortunes turned and his big chip lead barely landed him in 5th place as he doubled up several players. Damon took an unlikely fourth place after recovering from being all-in on the big blind, but he managed to recover from the edge of elimination and make it to the money. Jenny and Dave Maurantonio had a shot at taking down Jim South, but his stack was too much for them to overcome as he won the December game.

Final 8 players need to arrive at 5:00pm on January 11th for the championship game! Season 11 of the LLWSOP will start for everyone else at 8:00pm.
