South Wins Money, Flees State! - 5/02/15

While many people were blowing $100 on the "fight of the century," the rest of us were blowing money at the poker table. Jim South got into the spirit in the early rounds by draining his entire stack, becoming the first re-entry of the game. It ended up being a good choice because he landed in the cash as Matt Sprugasci took the dreaded bubble spot.

Due to the smaller turnout, the entire field started the tournament with 1,000 extra chips. Even so, the game seemed to speed along until we reached the money. Matt held on for several orbits, but once he was eliminated Jim took the table over. In the end, his re-entry landed him in first place and some spending money for his new digs in Seattle.
