Mike Emerson's First Cash is Also His First Win! - 08/07/16

Mike Emerson took an early exit from the May tournament, but his decision to re-enter the action turned out to be the right choice. Mike started building up chips and his stack became large enough to fend off several bad beats as he made his way to the final table. Mike was shooting for his first cash at the LLWSOP and his stack looked large enough to give him a win for May.

Uncle John turned out to be Mike's big obstacle to victory and in a decisive hand, Uncle tabled two pair and was all-in against Mike's single pair. The river gave Mike a larger two pair and that gave him all the momentum he needed to knock uncle off.
