Jay Wiley Drowns The Duck of Death! - 7/12/14

Someone must have put something in Steve Pait's water because he has been having a pretty good season so far. Not only does he have two wins this year, but he's also on top of the points list! It looked like he could take down win number three this month, but he ran out of chips landing in fourth place.

After Pait was eliminated, Ed Edens tabled A/9 vs. Damon Rivera with Q/T. The board didn't help Damon until the river when his hand managed a straight. Ed doubled with a set the very next hand, but Damon would eventually knock him off the table with pocket kings. Damon had a pretty good chip lead going head-to-head with Jay Wiley, but Jay slowly accumulated the lead over the next two rounds. Damon eventually got it in with top pair on the flop, but Jay held stronger with a tournament-winning two-pair, giving him his first LLWSOP win.
