Ben Eufemi Denies Alan His First Victory! - 10/11/14

This month's LLWSOP crowd had high hopes for greatness as Fancy Dan Shahin returned from the frigid lands of the north to once again dominate the felt. Unfortunately, his elimination in 17th place ended all thoughts of October greatness and victory. Brian Crews was deeply affected by Dan's loss and his game crumbled landing him on the bubble. After being eliminated, he commented that he "just didn't have the heart to continue."

After the bubble burst, players who didn't care at all about Dan got down to dividing the money and Dave Maurantonio was the first to take a cut with fifth place cash. Dave Sigua and Bonnie were the next to go giving Alan Feldman his first chance at total victory. Ben Eufemi put an end to that quest by stacking all of the chips on the table and taking the October title.

Unfortunately, shoddy work by tournament representatives failed to document the moment on film, but a similar picture from July, 2010 worked just as well. (He pretty much looks the same.)
